Young’s average crop of hay is 43 to the acre. the seed 12. bush. 3. Exp. agr. pa. 21. 27.

he thinks it best that the manure designed for wheat should be laid on the spring vetch, and the wheat sowed on the stubble in autumn. pa. 32. it would seem best to let clover precede wheat in the strong fields and vetches in the weak ones.
